It’s almost December, which means it’s prime holiday time—and, more importantly, that plenty of festive parties are just around the corner, too. Should you need outfit inspiration, the best dressed stars of the week totally nailed the art of holiday dressing, sporting looks that were dressy, glitzy, and ready for a grand evening bash.
The week’s most fabulous party looks ranged from the traditional to the unconventional. Stars like Jessica Chastain and Blackpink’s Lisa, for one, leaned into classic glamour. Chastain opted for a custom Balmain gown for the 2023 Marrakech Film Festival, choosing the label’s black long-sleeved dress with a pink bow bodice. Attending a state banquet at Buckingham Palace in London, Lisa slipped into a beaded aqua Georges Hobeika dress, with a striking built-in cape.
Other A-listers took more daring risks that paid off. At the Marrakech Film Festival, Tilda Swinton pulled off an XXL coat by Haider Ackermann, complete with silky white lapels. At a British Vogue party in London, Alexa Chung sported a Loewe optical illusion gown printed with a blurred trench coat. And at the world premiere of Beyoncé’s Renaissance film in Beverly Hills, Kelly Rowland took a silver sequin dress to the next level by sporting Jean Paul Gaultier by Julien Dossena’s conical bra version. Consider these head-turning looks proof that, sometimes, maximalism wins.
