Tiffany Haddish was apprehended on Nov. 24 for suspected DUI following a welfare check by Beverly Hills officers. The 43-year-old star was discovered slumbering in the driver’s seat with her vehicle’s motor idling. She was subsequently set free.
The previous evening, Haddish had been performing at the Laugh Factory located in West Hollywood.
E! News attempted to contact Haddish’s spokesperson and the local enforcement for a statement but to no avail.
Prior instances of Haddish’s run-ins with the law for akin reasons have occurred. Back in January 2022, she found herself in custody in Georgia due to law enforcement reacting to a distress call about a motorist dozing off behind the wheel.
